Feature Access Codes (Star Codes)

Feature Access Codes (FAC) – also known as Star Codes – are a convenient method for turning features on and off. With FAC codes, you can activate or deactivate features by dialling the star code on your telephone, Cross Connect mobile app and/or Call Connect web phone.

Prompts the caller for the destination

(Example:

*123Access VoicemailAccess your voicemail. You will be asked to enter your password, which is your voicemail PIN
*124Remote VoicemailLogin to Voicemail from another user’s extension. You will be asked to enter your extension and then asked to enter your password, which is your voicemail PIN
*71Activate Call ForwardActivate Call Forwarding. 
If no number is defined in the Portal you will be prompted to set the number to forward to
*72Deactivate Call ForwardDisable Call Forwarding
